Coins pre-1685 Category

Henry II (1180-1189) Short Cross Penny
This coin is very unusual in that it has been mis-struck on both sides.
On the Obverse, where the lower part of the face (chin) is, are pellets.
On the Reverse, are small curls, folds which were part of the face (chin).
This coin will interest Edward Besley (Numismatist) Museum of Wales
