Pembrokeshire`s Past Lost & Found
"Pembrokeshire`s Past Lost & Found" was compiled
in 1997 by Richard Blacklaw Jones and published in paperback by
the Pembrokeshire Prospectors. Alongside a wealth of photos there
is an interesting and informative text, which describes the finds
as well as giving details on their history and use. Finds shown
in the book range from the Bronze and Iron ages through to the Victorian
period. |
|
Many of the finds in the book are of considerable importance
such as Bronze age axe and spearheads, Roman brooches and coins
as well as a large selection of Medieval coins, rings and pilgrim
badges. The book is of interest to anyone who would like to know
more about metal detecting or indeed is simply interested in the
history and prehistory of the county. |
